Great Sand Dunes National Park

I’d like to start this post by saying my life is awesome. I have awesome friends, we live in an awesome state, and we do awesome things. Things like driving to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and “glamping.” Glamping, for those unfamiliar with the term, is glamorous camping. Right? Brilliant.

Nicole loves car camping!and overall comfort.

It has all the fun of regular camping, without sacrificing any amenities from home!

We were so excited to find out that our campground was hosting an ALL YOU CAN EAT ICE CREAM SOCIAL. Talk about hitting the glamping jackpot.

We went to sleep early and were up with the sun to hike into the Dunes.

I'm really good at hiking. One time, when I was at FroVa I went on a 7 day backpacking trip. I smelled so great when we returned to the dining hall.%22We hiked all the way over the “Great Dune” and had the whole place to ourselves.

The best part about busting your butt and hiking up sand (note: this is not easy) is RUNNING down the dunes. It’s AWESOME.
